Well done to Beccles Taekwondo Students who performed brilliantly at the recent
GTUK British Individual Championships
held at Ryton on Dunsmore Nr Coventry
The Beccles club entered a squad of 8 competitors across all age categories and came back with a total of 11 medals between them, with 6 Gold and New British Champions!
This is a 300 mile round trip from Beccles, and many of the students come from further afield, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Southwold, so this makes it even more exceptional to travel all that way and come back with such a great medal haul.
The squad were accompanied by instructors Mr and Mrs Bedingfield who were on hand all day officiating at the tournament along with GTUK senior instructors and students from all over the UK.

The clubs Pee Wee competitors: Bella Gibson Black Tag, Ben Chapman Red Belt, Jack Chapman Red Belt, competed really well against strong competition and just missed out on the medal positions.
