ICENI Taekwon-do Club Promotion Event on The Venue school field
ICENI Taekwon-do will be having a pitch at The Venue Table Top Sale on Saturday August 13th, 11am to 3pm. On the school field opposite. (See poster)
It would be really appreciated if some students could be there to help us promote the club.
We will have some flyers to hand out, (See poster) and we will have some kick shields available to work on, a break horse and BoB will be with us! We are not planning a demo, but need to be there to show the public who we are and what we do. So student support is always really appreciated. Ideally come dressed in your dobok, wear trainers, and bring your sparring kit so we can have some fun too 🙂
About Our Booking System
The booking system is imperative to our class plans and attendance records. We tailor our session based on who is booked in, so the earlier you book the better chance there will be parts of your syllabus included in the sessions.
Student Class Cancellations:
We need to re-emphasise our policy on late cancellations: We know that sometimes things happen at last minute, and cancellations cannot be avoided, but what we ask is where possible to give us as much notice as you can, so that we can try and arrange a transfer of your booking. However if class numbers are low, we may not be able to refund or transfer your class, as we still have hall fees to pay.
Please Note: There are NO classes on Monday 8th August … Mr and Mrs B are having a day off!
September Grading will you be ready for it?
Our next grading will be on a Monday evening class in late September, still to be confirmed, but please try and attend classes whenever you can, and keep practicing. Check your syllabus regularly too: Download from here!
OPEN ITF Competition
Also in September is the OPEN ITF competition, all our students are welcome to enter.
It is a fantastic opportunity to experience and meet other Taekwon-do students from the UK and around the world.
Compete to test yourself, and maybe win a fantastic medal!
Sat Sept 17th – OPEN ITF TAEKWON-DO INTERNATIONAL INDIVIDUAL CHAMPS
Sports Connexion, Ryton – 9.00am – Registration online – Doors open 8.30
